Introduction
In this module, the learning activities will focus on the idea about law and the legal rules. Activities will particularly focus on the skills and techniques for learning the law. The difference between the law and the rules are examined. Similarly, there will be discussions on the functions, characteristics, concepts including the objects of law in the society.
Objectives
The objectives of this module are:
i. to discuss the various legal rules, methods, and approaches on reasoning.
ii. to describe the basic knowledge of the concepts of law and various legal systems
iii. to explain the nature and function of law in society; and
iv. to apply the module in solving practical and real-world problems
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the module, students are expected to:
1. describe the various legal rules, methods, processes and reasoning;
2. discuss basic knowledge of the fundamental concepts of law and the various legal systems;
3. discuss of the function of law in society; and
4 apply the module in solving practical and real-world problems
