The purpose of this course is to expose learners to Sociological thoughts and skills of dealing innovatively to situations in the area of their discipline of study. More so, to prepare them for their future career in human and societal development. Of paramount importance, is to inculcate the skills associated with sociology such as peace keeping and keeping, team work, communication, listening and comprehension, creative and critical thinking, competitiveness, leadership, sensitization, diplomacy, negotiation, advisory, counseling and guidance, mentorship, business growth, volunteerism for use in their daily living and career.
