This course exposes the students to the elements in Music Theory. They are meant to go through the following topics - The Staff, Clef, Musical notes/Rests and their corresponding values; Pitch and Duration Accents, Rhythm, Bars & Bar lines, Time Signatures, Key Signatures; Major Scales with or without key signatures; Signs and abbreviation etc.
