
COURSE OBJECTIVES AND SKILLS:
This course reveals to the student the basics of interactive nature of politics and economy as well as how they affect/influence each other. It shows that as society progresses, different modes of production manifests at each epoch of society following economic determinism. The trend of historical materialism peaks at capitalism which appears to be the peak in production and exploitation of labour. The student is expected to acquire the skills in industrial relations, negotiation and pursuit of self-employment.- Lecturer : clement nweke
