SCHEME OF WORK
Special methods I (in Science) EDU 341 is a first semester two (2) credit unit course in science education for 300 level students. The aim is to prepare them for utilization of different education teaching models in science subjects, and methods; and application of educational objectives in the teaching and learning process.
At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
(1) Define and differentiate between science and science education.
(2) Explain different learning theories and science instructions.
(3) Outline and discuss the different domains of educational objectives.
(4) Outline and discuss different methods of science instruction and their features.
