This course is geared towards equipping the student with the skill of producing a good film and to master the art of either being a cast or a crew member. This will enable them to create film and content on their own. Therefore at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Describe film
2. Identify the aesthetic element of film
3. Analyse the technical apparatus of filmmaking
4. Develop a story idea and film script
5. Explain the art of film directing
6. Analyse and implement the details of filmmaking process
7. Identify issues surrounding the production of film
8. Produce a film suitable to solve contemporary issues in the society.
