Introduction
News is an account of timely event that straight news always deliver however most readers do not find it funny to relate with straight forward news, rather they want to know more about a story, have something more appetising and interesting to read. A kind of write-up that would be challenging and thought provoking, yet factual. This view led to the creation of feature stories since straight news story cannot cover all the facts related to a particular issue.
Learning Objective
This course is aimed at equipping students with the skill of investigating and writing in-depth news stories. The course will enable the students to become proficient and professionals in the act of investigative journalism and writing a story for publications.
